Greg has been a principal of Northington Partners (and its predecessor Crighton Anderson Corporate Finance) for over 10 years. In that time, he has advised clients on all aspects of merger and acquisition and capital raising activity, including relative valuations, transaction structure, and execution process. Greg has also been retained in lead advisory roles by publicly listed companies, large scale private companies, and State Owned Enterprises dealing with a wide range of commercial negotiations and broader corporate strategy issues.
Recent Experience
- Lead advisor to ANZ Bank in relation to its divestment of the management companies for Argosy Property Trust and Vital Healthcare Property Trust.
- Provision of strategic and analytical advice to Fulton Hogan in relation to long-term investment and capital structure planning.
- Provision of an Appraisal Report pursuant to NZX Listing Rules in relation to the sale of PGG Wrightson Finance to Heartland New Zealand. Separate reports prepared for the benefit of shareholders in PGG Wrightson and the debt security holders of PGG Wrightson Finance.
- Adviser to Merino Grower Investments Limited in relation to equity participation by management in NZ Merino following the acquisition of PGG Wrightson’s 50% shareholding in the company.
- Financial adviser to a PPP entity established to provide potable water supply to a New Zealand urban area.
- Provision of advice and analytical support to ANZ Bank in relation to the initial investor offer and subsequent negotiated settlement with the Commerce Commission concerning CDO / CLO investment funds with a face value exceeding $600 million.
- Expert opinions in relation to the establishment of Heartland Building Society, the partial takeover offer for Tourism Holdings Limited, and the restructuring moratoria for Geneva Finance Limited.
